Pratique como usar o passado em ingles em frases afirmativas

O Simple Past é utilizado para falar de ações concluídas no passado. Para os verbos regulares, a base da formação é o sufixo -ed.

Play	We played with the dog.	Nós brincamos com o cachorro.

Clean	I cleaned my house on Monday.	Eu limpei minha casa na segunda-feira.

ATENÇÃO ÀS REGRAS:

Terminados em -e: Apenas adiciona-se -d (Ex: like → liked).

Consoante + Y: Troca-se o 'y' por -ied (Ex: study → studied).

CVC (Consoante-Vogal-Consoante): Dobra-se a última consoante e adiciona-se -ed (Ex: stop → stopped).

Verbos Irregulares: Não seguem estas regras e possuem formas próprias (Ex: eat → ate).

My family moved to a new house last January, so we worked very hard during the whole week to organize our things. While my father worked at the hospital, my mother washed all the windows and I cleaned the garage to help with the organization.

After the hard work, my sister studied for her English and Portuguese exams in her new bedroom because she is a very focused student. She listened to some music to relax and, later, she played with our dog in the garden to celebrate the end of the day.

Finally, I worked with my boss at the bank yesterday, but I arrived home early to enjoy a small party with my family. We cleaned the living room together and listened to the radio while we talked about our new life in this beautiful house.
